The MediaHawk 2000 spans
the streaming media spectrum with comprehensive network transport and connectivity
options for both hybrid fiber coax (HFC) and digital subscriber line (DSL)
networks including high-bandwidth fiber trunks and IP streaming. With two
package options: mini-rackmount chassis and scalable rackmount chassis,
the MediaHawk 2000 is compact and completely scalable to accommodate system
growth, while the optimized system design achieves low cost per stream.
Concurrent’s MediaHawk 2000 supports fault-tolerant system configurations.
The MediaHawk family is based on the same fault-tolerant technology used
in critical real-time applications where the consequences for failure are
unacceptable, providing continuous operation and reliability for even the
most demanding digital media application.
The MediaHawk offers open application program interfaces (APIs) and complete
documentation to facilitate system integration of end-to-end system solutions.
The MediaHawk has been integrated into digital video to the home, education,
hospitality, and other digital media delivery solutions by a strong base
of industry leading companies. |
